Events Career Strategy Session

Aim
The 1hr strategy session will provide you with guidance and support on your career aspirations and goals. The topics covered will be specific to your own goals and could include business planning, a cv review, overview of your social media profiles and how to raise your visibility.

Who is it for?
The session is for ambitious individuals:
– working as a PA or in a secretarial role who already organise events as part of their day to day role and now looking to move into a full time events role
– who are employed in full time event management roles but now looking to go freelance
– who want to set up your own events management business after being in permanent roles
– who are freelance event managers and unsure where or how to progress their careers
– who have recently graduated from University or College and looking for that first role in the events industry
– in a junior coordinator role who want to get a promotion
– for event management students who are unsure how to get that next role/work experience placement or internship
– who want a change of career and decided that events management is the right career for them

Session Format:
• Ahead of the session, I will send you a questionnaire to complete and return. The questionnaire will ask for lots of information to find out about your events management experience, career aspirations, social media profiles, skills and knowledge.
• We will have a 1 hour session via zoom to discuss your career aspirations and goals and I will give you support, and guidance tailored to these goals.
• We will also discuss individual topics such as getting work experience/internships, raising your visibility in events, updating your LinkedIn profile depending on what you specifically need.
• You will receive a detailed action plan afterwards, so you know what you need to do as well as a recording of our session.

Additional follow up sessions can be arranged as needed.
